This Privacy Policy explains how Sports Capital International ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Fantasy Football World mobile and web application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. 

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account details: email address, password (stored as a salted hash), and display name when you register.
• Game activity: squad picks, captain/vice-captain selections, transfers, league memberships, chat messages within private leagues, and weekly performance.
• Support correspondence: if you email us, we keep the message and any attachments long enough to resolve the issue.

Information collected automatically

• Device and diagnostic data: device model, operating system version, app version, language, and crash reports. Used to debug issues and improve stability.
• Usage data: which screens you visit and which features you use, aggregated and anonymised.
• Local storage: the App stores a session token, your last selected gameweek, and cached squad data on your device so it loads fast offline. 
  

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account.
• To run the fantasy football game — score your squad, rank you in leagues, and show live points.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, cheating, or abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these limited cases:

Other players see your display name, squad, points, and league position. They never see your email or password.

Service providers we use to operate the App — for example, our hosting provider (Google Firebase) and our backend infrastructure provider. These providers act on our behalf and may not use your data for any other purpose.

Legal requirements — if we are required by law, court order, or other legal process to disclose information. 

4. Data retention 

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, transaction records may be kept up to 7 years).

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and personal data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

30 days.

6. Children's privacy 

Fantasy Football World is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data — TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls on our servers. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

8. International transfers

Your data may be stored and processed in countries other than the one where you live. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. 

9. Changes to this policy 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the App.
